Project partners
Playford Alive is a partnership between the South Australian Government, the City of Playford and the people of the Playford community. The Land Management Corporation (LMC) is the lead State Government agency, with responsibility for site construction, retail development, and marketing and sales of new land. LMC will also facilitate the improvement of other community services, public transport, local services (utilities) and traffic management.
Department for Families and Communities will ensure Playford Alive delivers improved services, facilities and accommodation for new and existing residents. This will incorporate the work of Housing SA which will redevelop or upgrade public housing within the project area.
The City of Playford will deliver important infrastructure such as roads, footpaths, parks, gardens and stormwater systems ensuring they work in a way that responds to community expectations.
The Playford Community has a prominent voice principally through the Community Reference Group (CRG). This group is composed of community leaders and residents, and liaises closely with Project Management.
