'Build Your Own' Affordable Home Initiative launched
Housing SA recently launched its ‘Build Your Own’ Affordable Home Initiative as part of the Affordable Homes Program. This launch presents a fantastic opportunity for eligible buyers interested in building their very own home in Playford Alive.
Eligible buyers are now able to purchase an affordable allotment and select their choice of design from a panel of builders to create a house and land package valued at around $255,000, depending on choice of allotment and design. There is a range of high quality, low cost designs to choose from that support ongoing affordability through environmentally sustainable features and fixed price building contracts. Builders will assist you throughout the entire process, from completing the eligibility assessment, purchasing the allotment, right through to the final construction.
