Community in Transition Plan
The long term economic and social sustainability of the Playford Alive project area and reinvigoration of the Peachey Belt community is a strong focus of the Playford Alive project.
The Community in Transition Plan for the period of 2009-2012 complements the physical master plan developed for the project, by ensuring that the project is linked to broader national, state and council initiatives.
The focus of the plan is on strategies to support members of the community as the urban renewal project accelerates by providing opportunities, activities and services to increase community participation (social and economic) across the whole project area.
